The curriculum for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing consists of four years of university studies for a total of 127 semester credits. The first and second year correspond to general studies, basic sciences, mathematics and elective courses, which will be taken in any other campus of the University of Puerto Rico and / or another University accredited by Council of Education in Puerto Rico (CEPR). The student is admitted to the third year, by articulated transfer, regular transfer, readmission, reclassification or transfer to the Nursing School of the Medical Sciences Campus. During the third and fourth year the curriculum is concentrated on subjects that include theoretical and clinical courses of concentration and electives in nursing. <!–To see a description of the courses, click here.–>
